Mini Stories: Kronos or Rheya

Small stories, big choices – welcome to my little choice-stories.

Maybe some of you still remember the short Mini Stories with Kronos and Rheya that I shared on Instagram a while ago. (And if you don’t follow me there yet – @dollmoons – you definitely should! You’ll find regular photos, WIPs, and little hobby tips ✨).

The idea behind this has been on my mind for quite a while. I’ve always wanted to write short stories with multiple endings – where you get to decide which path you take. Basically, tiny “choice-stories.” In this case: Who do you want to spend a day with – Kronos or Rheya.

With my project WireFall, I always had the framework of a visual novel in mind – a story that shifts depending on the reader’s choices. That’s exactly where this little idea came from: who would you rather spend the day with – Kronos or Rheya?

And honestly? It was so much fun! 😄 Your reactions were amazing – you voted, you engaged, and you enjoyed whichever version you got. That’s why I wanted to collect and share these stories here on the blog, so everyone who missed them (or is curious about the alternative endings) can enjoy them too.

Kronos Mini Story

Kronos and you had arrived at the Bazaar.

You hadn’t planned to stop — but then you saw it: a small claw machine, filled with colorful plushies.

You barely looked for more than a second, but Kronos caught it. She followed your gaze, smirked, and said, “I got this,” already feeding in coins before you could reply.

Ten failed tries later, she was muttering strategies under her breath. You gently suggested moving on. “No. It’s personal now,” she growled.

Then it happened. The claw closed, lifted — and, against all odds, actually held.

It dropped the plush with a satisfying thunk into the prize bin. Kronos blinked, almost surprised… then quickly pretended it had all gone exactly as planned.

She grabbed it triumphantly and shoved it into your hands. It was a small, soft brown bunny.

“Don’t get weird about it. It just… reminded me of you.” She turned away quickly, but you still caught the grin tugging at her mouth —and the faint pink at the tips of her ears.

My thoughts
With Kronos, it was important to me that she came across with a strong, confident presence – someone who makes you feel safe and in good hands. At the same time, I wanted her fiery, passionate side to shine through. When it comes to social interactions, Kronos can be a little clumsy at times, but that doesn’t make her cold or distant – quite the opposite. I hope this balance came through in her story.

Rheya Mini Story

You’re not sure how she pulled it off.

But when you arrive, Rheya is there — barefoot in the grass, with blankets, lights, and carefully prepared snacks.

A spot next to her is saved just for you. The place feels quiet, almost timeless.

You sit under a wide tree, light flickering through the leaves, a soft breeze playing with her hair.

“Sometimes the quietest moments speak the loudest.”

She offers you some homemade food, and when your hands touch briefly, she gives a faint smile.

You chat about little things — nothing and everything. When the sun finally slips behind the trees, she doesn’t say much. Just leans her shoulder lightly against yours. And stays there.

My thoughts
Rheya, to me, is a truly gentle soul: warm, kind, and selfless – embodying the very idea of compassion (which she represents).

In her story, I wanted to highlight that gentleness and create a calm, soothing atmosphere – in contrast to Kronos’ more energetic vibe. Rheya feels like a soft embrace, and I hope that’s the feeling you got while reading her story. ✨
